Passion, authenticity and friendliness in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez

Welcome to Nomadia

Nomadia restaurant was born from a passion for traditional cuisine and a desire to create an authentic place in Sainte-Maxime. Far from impersonal tourist restaurants, we wanted a place where locals and vacationers come together around good homemade dishes, in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Since our opening, we have cultivated the same values: product quality, 100% homemade cuisine, personalized welcome and fair prices. Our success with residents of Sainte-Maxime, Grimaud, Saint-Tropez and all of Var proves to us every day that we are on the right track.

Everything is prepared on site, from A to Z. No industrial frozen food, no prepared meals. Our sauces, our desserts, our burgers, our brioche bread... everything is homemade by our team. It's more work, but it's our pride and the guarantee of consistent quality.

We work in short supply chains as much as possible: vegetables from local Var producers, traced French meats, fish from Mediterranean fishing. Each week, we adapt our daily special according to arrivals and seasonality to offer you the best.

We have chosen a compact menu to focus on the excellence of each dish. No menu of 50 different dishes, but a selection of specialties mastered to perfection. Our 7-hour confit lamb shank is the perfect example.

Our journey

The opening

Opening of Nomadia restaurant in Sainte-Maxime with a clear vision: to offer quality traditional cuisine in a friendly and relaxed setting. Our 110-seat terrace quickly becomes a popular place for locals and vacationers.

The reputation

Word of mouth works. Our confit lamb shank and homemade burgers become must-haves of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Positive reviews pour in, reservations multiply, especially in high season.

The entertainment

We launch our entertainment evenings: darts tournament on Tuesday, musical evenings in summer, monthly themed evenings. Nomadia becomes more than a restaurant, a true living and meeting place in Sainte-Maxime.

Today

Established and recognized restaurant in Var, Nomadia continues to evolve while keeping its values: quality, authenticity, friendliness. We develop new services (takeaway dishes, group menus) while perfecting our classics.

Our philosophy in cooking

In cooking, we firmly believe in returning to fundamentals: good products, time, know-how. No tricks or shortcuts, just real cooking. Our lamb shank that simmers for 7 hours is the perfect example of this philosophy: you can't cheat with time.

We refuse industrial products, semi-preserves, powdered sauces. Everything that comes out of our kitchen is prepared the same day, with fresh products. It's more constraining, more expensive, but it's what makes the difference on the plate.

Our deliberately compact menu allows us to master each dish to perfection and avoid waste. We prefer to make fewer dishes, but make them very well. Our customers return this to us every day through their loyalty and recommendations.
